SUMMERVILLE DAY CAMP
Our Summer is full of fun adventures and trips!
Every week your child will stretch their mind and body
while exploring a variety of themes and making lasting friendships.
Summerville runs 11 weeks, from June through August. Grades K -- 5.
(Your child must have attended kindergarten prior to enrollment.)
Families may select weeks (full/partial) or register for the full summer.
Each week has 1-2 out of the building field trips. Every Tuesday is an outdoor water day at Wash Park.
Family Membership is optional, but includes discounted tuition and priority registration.
WEEKLY THEMES
Note: Each week has a themed field trip, a trip to Wash Park, and a visit to a local Denver park. Every Tuesday is an outdoor water day at wash park (weather pending)- please bring water attire, a towel, and a change of clothes!

Week 4 - July 1: CLOSED - WSCC CLOSED FOR WEEK OF JULY 4

SAMPLE SCHEDULE
8:00 – 9:30 DROP OFF – MORNING CENTERS, OPEN CENTERS
Free Time, Open Centers
9:30 - 10:00 MORNING GROUP TIME
Discuss plan for the day, get prepared for trips, etc, grab a quick snack.
10:00 -12:00 COMMUNITY EXPLORATION
Non-field trip days: Walk to Lincoln Elementary School Playground or Washington Park (please wear appropriate shoes for walking).
12:00 -12:30 LUNCH
12:30 -1:00 COOL DOWN/QUIET TIME
Time after lunch to take a break and relax, read a book, find things to do quietly.
1:00 -3:00 AFTERNOON LEARNING WORKSHOP
Themed activities for the week (led by teachers), open centers.
2;30/3:00 SNACK/BREAK
Please provide your child with an adequate amount of healthy snack(s). One (1) snack will be provided for kids should they not have any/enough.
3:30-4:30 CRAFTS & OPEN LEARNING CENTERS
Arts & Crafts, Other Activities, Playing in the Assembly Hall- all available options
4:30-5:00 CLEAN UP & PICK UP
Note: Each week has 1 field trip, 1 trip to Wash Park, and 1 trip to a local Denver park. Trips are usually between 10:00AM - 1PM. If you intend for your child to attend this trips, please arrive prior to 9:20/9:30 at the latest.
